I bet you thought I forgot about writing, didn't you? Well, I kinda did. Not really, I only thought about writing when I was absolutely swamped with work or engrossed in the middle of something else, and I really meant to remember to blog, but it seems the writing thought was fleeting.
It's hard to fit it all in during the Holidays. THANK GOD they are over…I'm such a Grinch (I'll write about that later)!! I bet I put 5,000 miles on my trusty little Camry in December. Maybe more! I'm sure she's thankful all of our Holiday travels are over with. I know I am!!
So, where did we go, you're wondering? Well, you see, when your family is divorced and remarried on both sides, you have a LOT of places to visit…and your own home isn't typically one of them.
1. Thanksgiving with my dad in NWA (we delayed it to Dec. because we were too busy on Thanksgiving).
2. Thanksgiving visit with Matthew's mom and Clayton in Little Rock (see note above).
3. Paige's birthday celebration!
4. Matthew's work party.
5. Coworker's graduation party.
6. Family trip to NYC.
7. Christmas with my mom in Russellville.
8. Christmas with Matthew's mom and Clayton in Little Rock.
9. Wild New Year's Eve in Fayetteville (not really, we were both in PJs by 8 pm…we're real party animals).
It seemed like there was a lot more going than that in my mind, but maybe that's because of the countless hours spent behind the steering wheel of my car. Who knows.
Anyway…I'll entertain you with our most recent escapades soon. I just wanted type a quick note while I was thinking of it (and before I forgot again)!
